Theoretical analysis short backfire antenna by using Moment of method

The short backfire antenna is one of the important types of antennas because its high directional and other characteristics. Therefore, this paper, for the first time, deals with a calculation for the radiation fields of a short backfire antenna using the moment method. The solution of the electromagnetic problem in depended on using the concept body of revolution and the principle of equivalence to obtaining the boundary conditions for this issue, which are integral equations for the electric and magnetic fields. These integral equations include the densities of the unknown electric and magnetic currents. calculated The radiation patterns and parameters of the antenna theoretically. The calculated patterns are found to be in good agreement with the measured patterns given with previous studies.
