Comparison between one layer and bilayer surface plasmon resonance optical fiber chemical sensor

Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) -based plastic optical fiber sensor for estimating the concentration  and refractive index of specific chemical samples. Two configurations of optical sensor structures primarily based on Surface Plasmon Resonance is fabricated through a small section (10mm) of optical fiber in the center is embedded in a resin block and then the sharpening method is done, after that In the first case, the plastic optical fiber two it is deposited with about (40nm) thickness of gold metallic two and two in the 2nd case, the plastic optical fiber it is deposited with about(60nm) thickness of gold and aluminum metals . The chemical samples two is positioned on small section core of an Optical grade plastic optical fiber of 980 µm core diameter.
