Description Abstract This paper will review the rise of the Sadrist movement due to the use of informal social networks during the 1990s, and after the invasion of Iraq in 2003, the movement’s capability of employing framing to mobilize people, and to what degree the movement was successful in rebuilding its structure, and being capable of attractively appealing to the masses, despite the fact that the movement was severely oppressed by the regime of Saddam Hussein in the late 1990s, especially after the assassination of its leader, Ayatollah Mohammad Sadiq al-Sadr. These are imperative questions that need to be addressed in order to explore the real pragmatic path in which the Sadrist movement used to bring people to believe in its causes and to be in a position that really threatening the whole political process in Iraq after 2003. Prior to my discussion of the aforementioned essential questions surrounding the Sadrist movement, it would be really significant to come across several indispensable factors that contributed very much to the evolution of the movement. These factors can be simply addressed as, political opportunities, resources, such as money and other financial means, leadership, and finally, the movement ability to utilize framing in the best way it can to get the critical support
